TAKE TIME

Take Time is a performance focusing on the topic of time. Speed, patience, deceleration and acceleration collide, but dissipate, melt into each other over the course of the performance. The instantaneous perception of time freezes and then erupts in the form of extreme acceleration. A line of light illuminates the space, 16 light stands seperate the room into two halfs. This symbolic line between the contrasts of acceleration and deceleration as well as speed and slowness is broken down by dance and acrobatics.
